The Carrier Automatic Home Standby Generator is completely automatic, meaning that there is no need to start or stop the generator manually, as with more traditional portable generators. This means that if your home were to lose power while you were not there, the generator would automatically start up and begin to provide power to your home’s appliances.

The generator is capable of automatically detecting loss of power. When loss of power does occur, the Carrier Automatic Home Generator restores power to the selected circuits in about 30 seconds, without any manual action needed.

The generator’s transfer switch and emergency load center detect power outages and in turn starts the generator. When main power is restored, the generator shuts off automatically.

Sound Output

The Carrier Automatic Home Standby Generator delivers sufficient amounts of energy, yet is much quieter than traditional portable generators that do not provide nearly the same amount of energy.
